Background and education

EDL entered the industry through learning by doing. A background as a former political advisor, marketing manager for northern artists and festivals, and years of international experience as a model has shaped a unique perspective — one that influences every project and every client relationship.

From 2022 to 2023, EDL studied Digital Marketing at Noroff, building a strong foundation in strategy, branding, and digital communication. In the fall of 2025, EDL began a Bachelor’s degree in Photojournalism.

This combination of real-world experience and formal education gives EDL a versatile skill set — bridging strategy and creativity, journalism and marketing, content and communication.

How it works

Strong communication needs clarity. Whether the goal is to grow a business, strengthen a brands identity, or create content that connects with the right audience, the message needs to be intentional — and the story needs to feel genuine and real.

From strategic brand development to visual production, every project is shaped to fit the client’s needs — whether that means defining a clear direction, producing professional portraits, documenting an event, or creating engaging content for digital platforms.

Buisness to customer

EDL works with more than just companies and brands looking to develop their voice. Individual clients are also a big part of the work — from capturing wedding days and personal portraits, to documenting newborns moving into the family home and the most beautiful memories watching the kids grow up.

The career began in a portrait studio, learning photography from experienced Bodø photographer Arvid Larsen. That foundation built a strong understanding of light, composition, and the importance of making people feel comfortable in front of the camera — something that continues to shape every session today.
